From Humble Beginnings to Prime Time: Local Laundry Scores a Spot on the Marilyn Denis Show's 12 Days of Christmas

We are absolutely thrilled to have been featured on the Marilyn Denis show as part of their 10 Days of Giveaways! Our Giving Toques, which donate a toque to a shelter for every toque sold, were a hit on the show and we couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity. It's a great recognition for the hard work and dedication that we've put in, which all started in 2015, when founder Connor Curran was studying in Sweden for his MBA and realized that there were no local clothing options for Calgary, which is where he lived. He had the idea of Local Laundry and set out to create clothing that not only represents local communities but also gives back to them.

At Local Laundry, we're committed to creating high quality clothing that gives back to the community. All of our products are manufactured responsibly in Canada, adhering to strict environmental and labor regulations. We believe that fashion should not only look good, but do good as well. And our Giving Toque is just one of the many products we offer that exemplify this commitment. For every toque sold, we donate one to a shelter, ensuring that those in need have access to warm, comfortable clothing during the colder months.

The Giving Toque's feature on the Marilyn Denis show was not only great for our brand recognition but also helped us to spread the awareness about the importance of ethically and responsibly made products, something we're passionate about. Our mission is to make a positive impact with our products and we're happy to see that our message resonated with the show's viewers as we've received a lot of positive feedback from our segment.

If you missed our segment on the Marilyn Denis show, you can still get your hands on a Giving Toque (and make a difference in the process). We have a range of high quality, responsibly made clothing available, so be sure to check out our full selection.
